Abstract
Contemporary malaise, characterized by the precariousness of life, pressure to perform,
and the fragmentation of social ties, is not a phenomenon that affects only adults.
Childhood and adolescence are also deeply impacted by this epochal malaise, manifesting
in symptoms such as boredom, anxiety, apathy, and school dropouts, among others. This
article seeks to explore how this malaise influences young people, integrating
interdisciplinary contributions that allow for a comprehensive understanding of the
phenomenon. Through this approach, we aim to analyze how current social, economic,
and cultural conditions shape the subjectivity of the new generations, in order to provide
tools that allow us to accompany and care for them more effectively, both in the
educational and clinical fields, in their search for meaning.

Resumen
El malestar contemporáneo, caracterizado por la precarización de la vida, la presión al
rendimiento y la fragmentación de los vínculos sociales no es un fenómeno que afecte
únicamente a los adultos. Las infancias y adolescencias también se ven profundamente
impactadas por este malestar epocal, manifestándose en síntomas como aburrimiento,
ansiedad, apatía y deserción escolar, entre otros. Este artículo busca explorar cómo dicho
malestar influye en los jóvenes, integrando aportes interdisciplinarios que permitan una
comprensión integral del fenómeno. A través de este enfoque, pretendemos analizar de
qué manera las condiciones sociales, económicas y culturales actuales moldean la
subjetividad de las nuevas generaciones, con el fin de brindar herramientas que permitan
acompañarlas y atenderlas de manera más efectiva, tanto en el ámbito educativo como en
el clínico, en su búsqueda de sentido.
