Claudio Glasman brings us a remarkable article, in form and content. About the form, the
author proposes an essay outside the static modality of the conference to be located at a
point of dialogue and critical interpellation of the reader. Following in the footsteps of
Freud and Lacan, it intensifies the questions, the journey through the texts and their
indexical reading and arrives at a series of valuable responses that heretically explore the
edges and confines of knowledge. About the content, the author gets to the fundamentals
of the discussion among analysts about the question of the father: if his prevalence should
be eliminated, if he is a hindrance in his Oedipal place, if we should literally decree his
death. The author locates the signifying pair function and de-function to support the
paradoxes of the father's function, from which he clears the coordinates of the conquest
and the work that the subject must assume to appropriate what is inherited. Likewise, he
advances on the developments of Lacan about the Names of the Father and the naming
father that removes the animality of the ancestors to give rise to the legacy and the
appropriation of a knotting name. We thank Claudio Glasman for his generosity towards

la forma, el autor nos propone un ensayo por fuera de la modalidad estática de la
conferencia para ubicarse en un punto de diálogo e interpelación crítica del lector.
Siguiendo las huellas freudianas y lacanianas intensifica las preguntas, el recorrido de los
textos y su lectura indicial, y arriba a una serie de respuestas valiosas que exploran
heréticamente los bordes y confines del saber. El autor llega hasta los fundamentos de la
discusión entre los analistas acerca de la cuestión del padre: si debe ser eliminada su
prevalencia, si es un estorbo en su lugar edipiano, si debemos literalmente decretar su
defunción. El autor localiza el par significante función y de-función para soportar las
paradojas de la función del padre de la cual despeja las coordenadas de la conquista y el
trabajo que el sujeto debe asumir en pos de apropiarse de lo heredado. Asimismo, avanza
sobre los desarrollos de Lacan acerca de los Nombres del Padre y el padre nominador que
destituye la animalidad de los antepasados para dar lugar al legado y la apropiación de un
