Abstract
The book “From the depths of Me Illustration. Short stories book” by Marta “Quiqui” was published in 2018 by Dunken Publishing House, Buenos Aires. The production is the result of an extensive reading tour of the author, and of her instances of exchange and group creation within the framework of literary workshops in which she has participated in the university field. The work consists of 44 short stories, and is crossed by personal experiences, the community, and its own inventiveness. The author dares to passionately address aspects of life, bodies, love and death, among other huge topics that she includes in her literary production. Her particular style involves the reader through the depth of her words, and the musicality of her text. Her word is described in the prologue of the book by Dr. Patricia Weigandt as "agile, versatile and, at the same time, deep as a stab, with the virtuous characteristic of allowing oneself to sink, to open the way to not stop running the blood of life."
Resumen
El libro “Desde lo profundo de Mí Ilustración. Libro de relatos cortos” de Marta “Quiqui” Romero fue publicado en el año 2018 por la Editorial Dunken, Buenos Aires. La producción es resultado de un extenso recorrido de lectura de la autora, y de sus instancias de intercambio y creación grupal en el marco de talleres literarios en los que ha participado en el ámbito universitario. La obra se compone por 44 relatos cortos, y está atravesada por vivencias personales, de la comunidad, y de su propia inventiva. La autora se atreve a abordar apasionadamente aspectos de la vida, los cuerpos, el amor y la muerte, entre otros enormes temas que incluye en su producción literaria. Su estilo particular implica al lector a través de la profundidad de sus palabras, y de la musicalidad de su texto. Su palabra es descripta en el prólogo del libro por la Dra. Patricia Weigandt como “ágil, versátil y a la vez profunda como una puñalada, con la virtuosa característica de permitirse al hundirse, abrir paso a no dejar de correr sangre de vida”.
