Abstract
This paper is part of research conducted at the National University of Comahue,
CURZAS, and draws on the PI V121 project, “Adolescence on the Margins of the Present:
Psychoanalysis, Institution, and Pandemic,” directed by Lic. and Prof. Marina La Vecchia
and co-directed by Dr. Gabriel Pavelka, and the PI V123 project, “The Figurations of
Horror in the Uses and Deviations of the Detective Novel,” directed by Dr. Adriana
Goicochea. This work is part of the “Cases of Terror” series, which is our way of naming
research papers in which literature, the real, and reality converge through the lens of
psychoanalytic analysis. Fifty years after the last civic-ecclesiastical military coup, we
propose to examine various aspects of national and global socio-political reality, starting
with a literary text entitled “Infierno Grande” (Big Hell) by the writer Guillermo
Martínez. With the aim of mapping the current state of subjectivity and identifying the
effects of the rise of far-right movements on the most vulnerable sectors of our society,
we propose psychoanalytic practice, which, in the words of Jorge Alemán, enables a new
kind of dignity in the articulation that occurs in our country between Psychoanalysis and
Human Rights.

Resumen
Este escrito se enmarca en investigaciones realizadas desde la Universidad Nacional del
Comahue, CURZAS, produciendo cruces entre el PI V121 “Adolescencias en los bordes
de la actualidad. Psicoanálisis, institución y pandemia” dirigido por la Lic. y Prof. Marina
La Vecchia y codirigido por el Dr. Gabriel Pavelka y el PI V123 “Las figuraciones del
horror en los usos y desvíos del policial” dirigido por la Dra. Adriana Goicochea. El
presente trabajo forma parte de la serie “Casos de terror”, que es nuestra manera de
nombrar escritos de investigación en los que literatura, real y realidad se dan cita desde
la lectura que el andamiaje psicoanalítico propicia. A 50 años del último golpe militar
cívico eclesiástico, nos proponemos interrogar distintos aspectos de la realidad socio
política nacional y global, partiendo de un texto literario denominado “Infierno Grande”
del escritor Guillermo Martínez. Con el objeto de trazar coordenadas de la subjetividad
actual e identificar efectos del avance de los movimientos de ultraderecha sobre los
sectores más vulnerables de nuestra sociedad. Ante lo cual, propondremos la praxis
psicoanalítica, que, en términos de Jorge Alemán, habilita un nuevo tipo de dignidad en
la articulación que se produce en nuestro país entre Psicoanálisis y Derechos humanos.
